lol you two are so cute:) I was laughing so hard i had tears in my eyes.

Hmm i havent had a real boyfriend since highschool. And honestly i think since my bf lived with us (his family kick him out) that everything he did annoyed me after a while but I never said a word lol

@ a secret
Ha!! That is hilarious. I'm with you, though. I think CONSENT should be a part of every adjustment!

So I just had to lmao when I saw this video because I am a massage therapist who once upon a time dated a chiropractor. There was this one day he had tried to crack my neck at the office and it wouldn't go and he said he would try again later. So later on that night I am getting a little frisky and he's getting undressed and he leans in to kiss me and when he does it he puts his hands on the side of my face all romantic and looks into my eyes and says "I love you" then proceded to whip my head right and left to crack it. I clocked him I was so pissed, thinking he was being all sweet and he just did it to catch me off guard. We laugh now but i wouldn't let him touch my face when kissing me for months. =)

@Purple

ahhh, the joy of rocking a world. Happy Vday!

My girlfirend is a few years older than me. Before I met her I thought I was looking for someone younger.
Even though she has kids, she still finds ways to let me know how special I am to her. I give her sensations she never experienced with any of her previous partners. It surprises me every time; hard to believe it's so easy, and so much fun to rock her world.

@Chistine
-That is so awesome. I was doing that for a while... but now Andicat's coffee concoction is becoming too complicated. (COP OUT!) :)

@ali
Awww, The Orange Aprons just don;t do it for you? I LOVE the plant=better association idea! And GOOD On YA for getting yourself chocolates! ((HUG))

I do all kinds of sweet things for my honey Greg. I always make him coffee, food, do all of the laundry and put it away, I do not care when he hangs with the guys, etc. What pisses me off is that he never does that in return. He thinks picking up a refill at the pharmacy is a sweet geture. Grr

We say movie lines that only we laugh at. I tried to do it at work with someone else and they just looked at me like I'm an idiot.

I pop zits, want my back cracked, and cook. A lot. I'm Italian, so that means three square meals a day and you're in big trouble if you forget to make time for food. And you need to try everything, even if its something you previously did not enjoy.

Oh, and I fly into a rage if I'm interrupted while working at my computer... such as last night -- but the bunny is *very* forgiving, thankfully.

I don't put up with much. o.O; No, really... he doesn't do very much that annoys me at all.

Andicat, I totally get you on the back cracker thing. TOTALLY.

Romantic gestures...my husband has been bringing me coffee in bed every morning for over ten years. I am a lucky girl. It doesn't get much better than that.

Awhh, that is a sweet video. I do like the back cracking, but in my defense my chiropractor is 100 miles away. What's a girl to do? John does a great job though!

See, we don't need to celebrate Vday, we do loving things for each other all year, like back adjustments!

I love you...

My guy gets so excited about taking me to Home Depot to pick out new things for home renovations and it is nearly all I can do to just be in the building sometimes. My newest plan is to buy a new plant or flower every time we go to raise my positive energy to counteract the desire to go sit in the car until it is over.

A secret Valentine's wish...i would LOVE to receive a giant box of chocolates for Valentine's day...but am pleased with buying them for myself until this happens. I will not go without the chocolate is what I am saying :)

I love the intimacy in the back cracking exchange between you two.

I dated a girl who had a similar back cracking desire. She preferred people to walk on her back, which I could never get comfortable with. She never offered to do it to me, though. :)

As long as the desires do not cross your personal comfort zones then all is good right? And if the comfort zones are crossed then what better way to strengthen the relationship than to see if there is a way to work through them?

I think the back zit thing is just a primal thing. Keep em coming Hal!

Yes. I'm the zit popper- but my baby loves it!

@Megan
-Awww! That is so cute! It's like the dimple is a rare flower that only appears on special occasions. *smile*

@Ed
-Should I not ask where you are being plucked?

Wow--I think you met your mate, Jon =) How darling.

Although not in a committed relationship, I have been intimate with a particular fella once, and we continue to interact daily. I usually go for the uber males--6'2" and above--but this one is 5"7" (I'm 5'8"). He is scrawny, fragile, and a pain in the ar$e. I am, still, attracted to him like no other.

What does it for me is the huge, single dimple in his cheek. All I want to do is finger it. I am obsessed. He is not the happiest, smiliest person I have ever met. Part of me thinks that my obsession with this indentation in his cheek is because his dimple exists only when he smiles.

I have daydreams of making him laugh, then freezing the moment and kissing that dimple for all it's worth.

I want to run away with his dimple and make babies with it. Babies with little dimples in their butts =)

Just a hobby, eh?

I grin and bear the pain of hair plucking for love.

I have 2 that I could tell, one that fits into the other. It would be too long to do without being audio.

@HotDamnTV

As rough as that sounds, it could have been much worse. 1) YOU TRIED!! It would be so much worse to always wonder if you should have. 2) Now your world is open to the next divine connection. GOOD LUCK!

@BigMisterC
That is sooooo sweet! It reminds of that great line in "Adaptation" about "Nobody can tell you who you can love." (paraphrased) Good for you for spreading such warmth!

Oh man.
So last semester was my LAST semester ever (Cal State Fullerton), and I met the most beautiful girl EVER.
She was in the TV-Film Society (extracurricular thing), so I joined it.
I didn't have any money to pay the membership fee, so I became an elected officer (External Promotions) in the group do I could see her twice a month fo' free.
I asked her out on a date in front of a huge lecture class and spent all kinds of $$$ on her.
I even got an internship at NBCU because she was doing so, and it's her favorite network.
I recently discovered she has no emotions and no feelings for me at all, effectively ruining my Valentine's Day and my heartstrings.
UNLUCKY

I have an anecdote from when I was a freshman in high school. I fell head over heels in love with a senior that was in band with me. I used to daydream about her, so much that once when I was in my parents' kitchen pouring myself a glass of iced tea I actually poured two glasses: one for her and one for me...

I was entranced and really wanted to express to her how I felt but I was petrified to even approach her. So I came up with a plan. Now, my folks are a literary bunch and we always had books around of all kinds and they encouraged us to read any and all of them that we wanted. And one day I came across this tome of poems by Shelly, Keats and Byron {I think I still have it. Sorry, dad!} and felt my infatuation and love flowing back to me off of those pages. I followed her after class one day so I could figure out where her locker was and then wrote out some of the verses and would slip them into her locker.

"SHE walks in beauty, like the night
"Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
"And all that's best of dark and bright
Meets in her aspect and her eyes"
- Byron

I would sit watching, enthralled, as she giddily shared the notes with her best friend who sat next to her in the flute section. I wish I had the nerve to eventually tell her that it was I who was dropping the notes in her locker... after a while I stopped; I just couldn't keep it up and her enthusiasm waned over time as well, which helped to dash my hopes.

While I regret never directly telling her how I felt, I will always cherish seeing the way her face lit up... lit up because of me!

@BigMisterC

LOVE DAY! I'm in!

Sharing love is the best path to healing ourselves.

BTW - I love Dan!

Goddess said, "Remember the ache of unrequited love."

I don't need to remember it, I live it every day. It's all I've got.

@goddess_esselle - I like where you are going with this! Vday gift idea: Assualt with e deadly weapon!! ;) But I hear what you are saying, absolutely!

@Dan - awww, Well I think LOVE DAY (not just romantic) is a better idea. You in?

I don't think the greeting card companies want to make you feel like crap, Dan. They want to sell greeting cards! They want to sell the idea of romantic love, minus the hard work necessary to make a long term relationship work.

TAKE BACK THE PAIN OF LOVE! Forget flowers that die in days. Forget rings and chocolate and expensive sh*t that in reality "means" very little. Remember the ache of unrequited love. Remember the pressure of your partner on your body. Remember the distraction of caring what someone is doing when they are not with you. Remember letting go of the fear of trying that something new with a trusted partner.

The oldest love myths involve shooting someone with an arrow...piercing the flesh to cause real physical pain at the beginning of partnership. Embrace that concept.

Valentine's Day is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap.
